Question about baby expenses and baby Shower. Can you help plz?
Okay so due to us having hurricane ike come throuhg and destory house and cause other problems we have to move the baby shower to another location and or cut the babyshower in half and just have two seperate showers. I wanted to beable to play games and stuff and for ppl to feel comfy playing the games but i dont know how that will work if we have it at a resturant. I mean alot of places want you to spend about 300 dollars to use a room for a event and I dont think they planned on spend that kind of money on food and drinks. but if we go to a resturant and have no private room that would be cool and we just do simple games and and do appitizers. I just don want ppl to feel funny. OR we could just do it at my househouse and do 20 20 and have two showers which i think woul dmaybe be better. My second question I havent been putting money aside for the baby and i just wanted to know if you think it is possible for me to start saving like 100 to 150 a month untill jan 12 when i'm due. I didnt put many baby clothes on my registry bc i dont know how big the baby wil be and dont want to get something too small and he not beable to fit it. Should i just wait until after he is born to go buy clothes for him. the only thing i'm buying now is the travelset carseat and stroller and the crib which my bf's mom is going to help us up with. Oh and i also have to buy a good pump. And i have to pay the hospital like 600 for the brith of the baby. This is why i'm a little stress about having everything that i need for the baby plus payin g to hospitla 600 before the birth. And i dont know how i'm going to save money when i have to spend a grip on other things that i will need. I'm just really worrid and i feel like i dont know what to do. Plus i willbe out of work and there will be only one pay check comeing through to pay for all the bills. Just need advise from other ppl plzzzz

My husband and I just found out that we are having a baby. We were getting ready to sign on with a health insurance company and with finding out about my pregnancy it's now 2 late to sign up for maternity insurance, so nothing would be covered. I was just wondering if any one knows what to do with some help with the hospital expenses, any plans. Thanks

I am planning on being a stay at home mom to be with our first child. I am trying to make a list of monthly expenses I should expect to spend on our baby. My list so far Clothes $0 Have plenty from baby shower and used clothes from friends for first year Medical insurance premium for baby $701 monthly doctor visit co pay and prescription co pay $35 all vaccinations included Random OTC medicines $10Food Formula $0 Breastfeeding Wipes $5 Only buying wipes for diaper bag, wash clothes used at home for wipes Diapers $7 Cloth diapering, $7 for dryer only, water free with HOA fees Shampoo Lotion $10 Laundry Detergent $10Daycare $0 Stay at home mom Increase in utilities Only heating for baths $10Toys Pacifiers $25Total expenses so far $182What else am I missing? Could I receive financial aid to help pay for pregnancy and baby expenses?
I am a 20 year old college student and I just discovered that I was pregnant about a week ago. My parents are by no means poor, but my boyfriend and I are not well off financially. Could I possible receive financial aid to go to school or to help pay some baby expenses or am I too old to receive that now? I know one of my friends received something of this sort, but she was 18 not 20...

Baby expenses?
Hi, I am wondering how much it cost you the first month you had your baby. Say the mom is breast feeding and had a baby shower. Do people generally give good things at showers, like clothes, stroller, diapers? Or does having a baby shower not really help? How much do you think you spent at first?Thanks for the replies

I'm doing a little research and have a few questions. Thanks for your help 1 What is the average charge a week for daycare? Public daycare 2 When should you stop brest feeding and when you stop will your baby be old enough for regular milk? 3 While at daycare would you recommend sending formula or pumped breast milk? if formula what kind? How many bottles?4 When should you start your baby on baby food? How often should you feed your baby it?
