Can I reuse baby food after a day of using it?
My dad is trying to tell me that baby's saliva ruins baby food after one use. Is this true or can I put it in the refrigerator? It's in a plastic container and says to use within two to three days.

hello my son is 11 months old he will be 1 yr next week , since last week he has refused the food that i make for him frozen pureed food so i try feeding him the food that we eat like chicken, rice, veggies he seems to like it but he only eats about 4 5 spoons and then some fruit he also drink about 6 oz of whole milk through out the whole day but that's its. how do i know if he is eating enough please give me a example from breakfast,snacks and dinner of what you feed your 1 yr old. i don't want him to get sick from not eating . thanks
How to make baby food? Experienced moms?
Is it really as simple as throwing food into a processor until puree texture? For example if I am making green beans, I just throw a few beans in there? Do I need to add water to thin the food a bit? What about meats? Is it easiest to just buy jars of meats?A little info My son is 6 months old and I would prefer him to eat what I eat, rather than jar food. I feel if he gets used to the flavor of 'real' food, it will be an easier transition to chunk solids. Any advice, products to use, information, websites with recipes would be great

I need a food processor that can blend food to a very smooth consistency The consistency of a stage 1 baby food . I checked consumer reports and none of the food processors they reviewed scored in " excellent" for pureeing.Also, it's very important that it's a good quality product I don't want a piece of the processor to break off into the food. I've had blenders where a piece of metal had come off into the food even though it was a sturdy new glass blender
Making your own baby food?
My baby will be four months in April and I sort of want to get an idea of some things I can make baby food with. I Know vegetables and fruits are a MUST for them. But could I blend up chicken and such not and make baby food with it? My mom did this with all of her children but she has been too busy lately to answer my absurd questions. And I don't know if she would remember what all she made because her baby is nine, ha.Any help is appreciated. . Just making sure And I know what foods she has to wait until a year to have. I am so excited for this,lol.
Breastfeeding moms, did you introduce baby food to your child at 6 months?
I breastfed my son for 18 months, but ONLY breastmilk as a source of food for 9 months, which my doctors and everyone gave me a really hard time for. I'm about to have another and since I missed the whole soft baby food stage like pureed and cereal with my first, I'm wondering if most start at 6 months? My son just never really liked them, so we went straight to softer solid foods at 9 months..is that really that bad? Just wanted to know what other momma's feel comfortable with when breastfeeding.

Feeding my child baby food..?
I'm just beginning to give my 5& 1 2 month old baby food. so far we've just given it to her randomly, and I'm not quite sure how to work it into some kind of routine. Do I have to keep feeding her just as much formula as before? Or do I substitute food for bottles and wait 3 4 hours before feeding her again. How many times a day should I give her baby food, and how how many ounces should I give her a day? Also, are there any foods a should stay away from until a certain age? I know the veggies before fruits rule and no milke peanut butter etc.. but anything else as far as baby foods go?
