Is my baby nursing enough?
My daughter was 5 lbs. 13 oz. and now weights 6 lbs 2 oz. She pees about 5 times a day and has little poops almost every time I change her diaper. My reason for asking this question is because she doesn't drink from my breast very long. Sometimes total feeding time is only like 10 minutes if that. She eats every few hours most often and sometimes she has to be woke up to eat because I don't let her go longer than 5 hours without eating.
What are you the steps you have to go through to become a baby nurse?
i know i am only a freshmen in high school, but my dream is to work as a baby nurse. what steps do you have to go through all the way to get to do that job after collage?also, if you are a baby nurse already or something, can you tell me what it is like? thanks os much
How many times a day did/does your baby nurse?
Once you started solids? Just curious as my baby is having solids 1 2 times a day and is still nursing up to 10 times a day I am fine w this but I was just curious what other babies did?
Has anyone else let their baby nurse even though there isn't really much milk?
My daughter is almost 9 months old. Up til her 7th month, I didn't use formula much, she maybe had 1 or 2 bottles every few weeks. I have slowly been introducing more formula and less nursing. Now I am to the point where she rarely nurses and I was pumping but I'd only get an ounce or 2. Now I don't pump and she only bottle feeds.I am trying to wean her most of the way because next semester I will be going to school full time and I also work, it would just be easier on everyone if daddy could just feed her. I think I did a good job nursing as long as I did, she likes bottles, and also she eats a lot of food. She loves to eat food. I think I am still producing a little milk,but not enough to fill her up. Sometimes after she has a bottle I will nurse her just to get her to sleep, or if she is fussy just to calm her. Its more just a nurturing thing then actually feeding her, because really there isn't very much milk. Did anyone else do this? I'm just curious. She'll nurse even though no milk comes out. Thanks

How well did your baby nurse once you were pregnant again? My husband and I are going to start trying and my son is and will still be nursing while I am pregnant. However he is already a big 9 1 2 month oldWill he self wean early due to a growing belly?
10 month old sleep issues - my baby nurses all night and wakes up every few hours.?
My son is 10 1 2 months old, he's been sleeping with me since he was born. He wakes up several times at night to to nurse and it's driving me mad He won't sleep in his crib alone as he looks for my breast constantly. I'm so tired and I just want him to be a little more independent in the nighttime hours Does anyone have any intelligent personal experience they can share with me? Does your baby nurse only certain times of the day?
My baby will breastfeed in the AM she drinks breastmilk from bottle during the day because I work but she refuses to nurse at night. She cries when I bring her near the breast. how can I get her to nurse all the times including the weekends when I am with her instead of her just nursng for morning feeds?She is 6 months old. She does take a whole bottle after refusng my breast, so she is hungry.
How long after baby nurses should i wait till i pump...?
I am exclusively breast feeding my baby and i work 2 days per week.. during those eight hour work shifts as a cashier i only have limited time to get away to pump 3 hours apart. I am currently pumping Half what my baby eats at home from the bottle I will get something like 4 oz while she will eat 8 at the babysitters. i keep hearing to pump after she nurses to help keep the freezer stock in check and i have been pumping two or three times per week other than the days im at work.. but i want to try to fit more pumping sessions in to my off days how long should i wait after baby eats to pump like half an hour? .....she is 4 months old now.and he does. he even vacates his office because that is the only spot in the building without a camera but we cannot leave the fule desk to pump let alone pump while you work like some office jobs... he is giving me special treatment in order to pump but other employees deserve their breaks too. i sometimes delay them because i have to go and that so its not like i dont' have time to pump... i can pump for fifteen minutes during my break and that works for me Im just talking about fitting in more sessions because what im getting at work is significantly less than she is eating at home and it is devouring my stash.

i feel like my daughter nurses all the time, she eats baby food twice a day, but she nurses probably 10 times between night and day feedings.

I have a nearly 10 monthold who has had weight issues, which we are seeing a specialist for on Thursday. It seems like she doesn't nurse for very long, and she NEVER nurses with gusto aka she's a slow eater . How long does your baby nurse on average on each side?
How many times a day does a 6 1/2 month old baby nurse?
My daughter doesn't take any bottles, so there's no way of knowing how much she is getting. I started her on solids we give her cereal in the morning, and a jar of baby food in the afternoon and she'll eat the full 3 tbsp of cereal and the whole jar of baby food and then she only nursed 5 times yesterday so I don't know if maybe it's too much for her at her age. I don't want her to get dehydrated. Should I keep feeding her this much and let her adjust or do you think it is more important that she nurses more?I guess it is weird also because she has been nursing every 2 1 2 hour around the clock since she was born and now that's changing.
