Throwing a baby shower but i don't want any kids attending?
i am throwing a baby shower for my mom at my place which is an apartment. its a decent size but so far the party guest count is at 20. i sent out inventions making it clear to leave the husbands home its a time for us girls to get together and enjoy the awws and ohhs about babies. but i didnt mention anything about kids and i know tons of them do have kids. my thing is i dont mind but there is nothing for the kids to do here at my place i think they will get bored and you know how kids get when they are bored. is it mean of me to not want them to bring their kids either? how do i go about saying 'leave your husband home with the kids' nicely? lol
Teen baby shower food?
I'm going to a teen baby shower and she told me to bring a finger food but I don't no wat to bring but it needs to be something that is CHEAP and. Doesn't need to be cooked of warmed up thanx

The baby shower is going to be a co ed shower held in June. It's going to be an outdoor bbq. We're looking for ideas for invitations, favors, games, anything and everything For invitations we are thinking about writing " she's got a bun in the oven, he's got burgers on the grill" or something to that sort, so ideas with " bun in the oven" would be great too. My oldest son is sick with the flu and now my youngest son is also sick. My husband is starting to get sick today too so im havin him sleep on the couch I have to ride in the car with them so what should i do to avoid gettin it cuz i dont wanna be sick at my babyshower nor do i wanna get everyone else at my baby shower sick My boys or husband wont be at my shower. setting it for another date is not an option.

Opening gifts at a baby shower when you have a baby registry?
I'm a little torn on this subject. I'm constantly reading that it's proper etiquette to open gifts at your baby shower however what if you have a baby registry and some people have sent the gifts to your home? If some people bring the gift and some send it to your home and you open the gifts, won't the ones that send it to your home feel left out?Ladies who have had a shower and have had a baby registry please comments and help me based on your experience. Baby shower locations in Orlando, FL?
I'm scouting locations for my baby shower that's going to be in a couple of months. We have a pretty large guest list and I'd like to do it in a park or something, but there are so many parks on Orlando's Parks and Recreation website that I need to narrow it down so I'm not driving to all ends of the earth looking at each one. I would like it to preferably have a pavilion or some kind of covered area in case it rains or something as it tends to do in FL , plenty of picnic tables for food and seating, and also restroom facilities nearby. Playground would be nice since there will probably be kids attending. Central Orlando would be best because most people attending are in that area. Does anyone have any suggestions for a pretty place to hold my shower?

Planning a Carnival twin Baby shower, with a Outrageous budget HELP??? Freaking OUT!?
I am planning a Carnival themed twin baby girls shower for a friends aunt's boss, so I under allot of pressure to make her happy.She lives around 45mins away but she picked me because I planned 4 other baby showers that turned out amazing, but all 4 of those showers were for teen moms 15 to 18years old and their budget didnt exceed $5K but when I went to meet her today she said her budget was $820k my heart skipped a beat almost a million dollars on a baby shower I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL PARTY PLANNER which I told her but she insisted that I am planner for her so im sort of freaking out I have around 2months to plan the perfect carnival baby shower.All she told me was she wanted the popcorn and pink cotton candy the rest is up to me So can someone please give ideas I am freaking out so much right now, I am not going to college to be any kind of planner, I am trying to become a Vet I only planned baby showers because I loved helping my friends who are pregnant. That and shes give me $8,200 commission but again I do it becuase I love helping and I dont need the money.BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE IDEAS
