Baby bed up and baby swing out....some concern with the family pets though...should we encourage interest or..?
ADD Again our poodle is very interested in her swing and how it works, should we encourage this interest he has?Okay we put the baby swing out today.Both dogs have been curious and interested. Both have been sniffing it and our poodle actually has been trying to figure out how to make it work. Once he saw he could move it.So we turned it on because we were advised to let them get used to seeing it in motion.Our Terrier has run and hid and when she comes out she just barks at it our poodle it doesn't phase him at all.Now both our dogs do okay with kids our terrier is wonderful with kids and our poodle is good with older kids and has always been curious about babies but with this swing our Terrier her fur is standing straight up on her back and neck like a cat But she is getting braver.My question is Should we encourage the interest in the swing and let them sniff at it and see how it works or should we not let them anywhere near it or any of the babies stuff ?I mean they have to get used to it right.What is your advice on that. Baby due in 11 weeks Never worried about our Terrier with a new baby but did have some concerns with the poodle, but none of her stuff is even phasing him so that is a good sign, he is very interested in how the swing works. Terrier is a bit skittish with this swing though so I am a little concerned about that, not her around kids though Both dogs are well trainedBoth dogs are pretty well trained and don't chew on things...just want them to be used to it so they don't react funny when baby is in it
How do i choose a baby swing or tub?
Is there any moms out there that can tell me which one to buy? do i really need a swing? right now i have a thick frog shaped sponge to lay baby down for bathing. will that work or do i really need a bathtub?
What's a good alternative to a baby swing once baby is over 25lbs!?
My swing and my baby's bouncy seat both are only good up to 25 lbs. My son in 5 months old and 18lbs, but he's really tall 27 inch so it seems like he's grown out of these items now or pretty soon. I can't seem to find any item like these past 25 lbs, any ideas??

When did you get rid/put your baby swing away for the next one? I'm done having kids!?
My daughter is going to be 7 months old on Friday. She is 23 lbs, and is 90 95 % in all the other percentiles height and head circumference. She also tries to sit up when in her bouncer. The only time I put her in it, is when she is napping. Its in my living room and I want it out P When did you decide that's it with the swing? I did find it very useful for the first few months.
Graco Silhouette baby swing?
I'm attempting to put a Graco Silhouette baby swing together. If anyone has this and has put it together, you'll know what I'm talking about but I'm currently on the step where the battery compartment arm and the arm opposite of it go on. However, after screwing them in as tightly as I can, they both still seem a little bit loose. I assume this isn't normal and just wondering if anyone has run into this same problem?

So i know that some go side to side, and some go back and fourth. Is there any trends that youve noticed in different age groups or just overall with baby swings? How about the ones that make noise? Can you use baby swings and bouncers past the Maximum weight?
Just curious if you could use baby swings and bouncers past their maximum weight which is usualy 25 lbs? I just started buying things for our soon to be son and my 2 yr old daughter who is about 29 lbs thinks its cute to sit in them. I dont mind she is just curious. I can usually get her to get out of them by telling her to go get a baby doll and push them in it but that doesnt always work lol do you think she would break them? Baby swing v Bouncer?
Which one is better of the two? I have a baby bouncer, and thinking about adding a baby swing to the nursery as well. Is it really worth investing in a baby swing? How frequently do you use yours?
