What should i dress my newborn baby girl in ?
Ok this might sound stupid but what would i dress my newborn girl in. She is Due in July and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is my first child and i have no clue lol.I'm not stupid I know she has to wear clothes, i was more meaning things like do i buy her " clothes" or just like all in ones and stuff like that.

About 5 days ago I gave birth to a very pre mature 29, almost 30 weeks born girl whom, I called Maya. The doctors rushed her right to the cubicle and it took a while to get her crying and breathing she kept stopping breathing for a couple of seconds, then breathing for a few minutes, then stopping...and breathing. The doctors weighed her and she was 2lbs 3oz. During the checkups, they said she was fairly chubby her heart rate was faster then normal.. I asked the doctors if she would live and they said she had as 50 50 chance of living, they would have to see how things would go, but they would try everything they could. They put her on life support How can I live through this I went through these 9 months for nothing....... do any of you ever experianced the same thing with your newborn?
Can you feed a newborn baby ramen noodles everyday?
Ok I have a friend who is very, very poor and her baby was basically an accident. So I'm thinking maybe that's why she doesn't take good care of her? The baby is sooo skinny and eats ramen noodles mashed up everyday. With powdered milk. My friend never breast fed her or anything. She has bumps on her legs the baby . The baby is 4 months.You guys have NO idea what I have done in the past to get this woman to feed her child right YET she believes it doesn't matter too much. She is not informed about nutrition at ALL. She has no idea what the heck it is. She is sooo poor she uses cloth as a diaper and then washes it when it's dirty, dries and reuses. I asked this question to see what my options were. I feel bad for reporting someone and possibly taking their baby away. Idk.
Is it safe for you to kiss a newborn baby on the face?
I went to the hospital because my sister in law delivered today and her biological sister kissed the babies cheek and everyone panicked saying you shouldnt kiss an newborn.....why?

Hi moms Heres my question.I have a two year little girl and two weeks ago, I had a little boy. Now, My daughter has never slept in her crib, She has always slept in the bed with me. But since the baby has come, I have her sleep in the other room with her grandma so her sleep isnt disturbed when i get up all night long with the newborn.I feel awful moving her into the other room with grandma, and when i try to keep her in her crib at night which is in the same room as my bed and me taking care of the baby She fusses and cries and wants in the bed with me, which is diffucult to do, because I am up and down all night with the new baby, she wakes up, when he cries and then she wants me to hold her and rock her back to sleep. But I only have two hands What would you suggest I do? Because I do want her back in the room with me eventually but I don't want her to be woken up with the baby, I mean he is only 2 weeks old and I dont even have him on a schedule yet. I feel like she thinks I am ignoring her or favoring the baby over her, but its not true, I am actually thinking more about her, since I dont want her sleep disturbed. What would you do? How would you make it work for both babies without either being " neglected" .Any mom advice would be great xoxo

I am scared for my baby girl. Anybody's newborn baby ever had reflux disease?
I just had my baby on February 8 of this year. She was born at 36 weeks 5 days. Her weight was 6 lbs 4 1 2 oz. She was quite healthy for a preemie. I have her via c section this is my 3rd c section and 3rd baby . Before we left the hospital, I noticed that she would spit up all the time or formula breastmilk would always come back up through her nose. I asked the nurse about it when she came to take her back to the nursery and she said that my baby might have swallowed some of the amniotic fluid. All 3 pediatricians saw her and said that she was fine to go home with me when I left.Well yesterday at her 2 week follow up appointment I told the pediatrician that she was still spitting up and letting formula breastmilk come up through her nose even though we make sure she burps at least twice before putting her back in the bed on her back. She does it about 5 minutes after we put her back in bed she will gasp for air and act as though she is drowning or getting strangled . This frightens the crap out of me. I am soooooo paranoid I watch her like a hawk just to make sure I'm there to soothe her if she does it.Well the doctor is sending her to the hospital on Monday at 6 am to get her x rayed. He wants to see if she has reflux disease. There is no other way to tell but by an upper GI scan. I pray that she is well.Anybody ever dealt with this?? I am so scared for her.
Birthday party ideas for myself, my to-be-2-year-old son, and newborn baby?
I am due to have my baby around August 8th, my birthday is August 29th, and my son's second birthday is September 15th. Since I live far from my family, I am trying to plan one big party for all three of us mainly for my two kids though.. will find out the sex of the baby in a couple weeks but I think it's a boy on probably September 4th... I am needing ideas I don't think there will be many kids there, just two or three other than my own, so it will mainly be teens adults I have a lot of teen aged siblings . It will be warm, so we will have the party both indoors and out. What can we do? What should the theme be? Help Haha I'm starting to plan this now because I started too late for my son's first birthday and plans fell through and he wound up barely having a party at all.

Are newborn babies safer in moses baskets or in regular cribs?
hi i will be having my baby this summer and i am terrified and scared of SID's in newborn babies. Ive read of many babies suffocating in cribs and I wanted to know if a smaller basket, basinett would be safer for my baby boy to sleep in. Im just terrified my little boy sleeping alone in a spacious crib.What do you moms think???

Cats & Newborn babies?
I have had my cat for 2 yrs and she has been with me through the whole pregnancy. I am due in 2 weeks and everyone is telling me that I HAVE to get rid of my cat. My doctor had told me to have my boyfriend continue to clean the litter box, make sure he cleans himself up real good afterwards prevent the spread of germs , and to get a crib net. Has anyone here given their cat up after you started to have children? Has anyone here keep their cat and had no problems?I mean, I don't want my cat to sufficate my baby... but I just don't see it as possible if I am a responsible mother who makes sure that it would never happen. I bought the crib net it looks a bug net tent that sits ontop of the crib I have doors in everyroom, so it would be very simple to keep kitty away from baby. also my cat had kittens 3 days ago i guess she follows in mommy's footsteps bad kitty she is set up in the garage for now because her and the kittens need to be in their own spot...so she isn't even in the house.I just really want opinions on this, because my doc tells me one thing but my mom tells me another...and its all very confusing.Should kitty stay or go?
